Our Food Grade Hoses
We proudly supple Texcel hoses. We have found these hoses to offer the greatest quality and efficiency. Each hose works best in its intended setting, so we recommended that you only use the hose for its intended purpose. Fortunately, most of these hoses work great in a range of settings. It’s most important to take note of the temperature rating of the hose and the normal temperature for the product you intend to flow through the hose.
No matter which hose you need, you’ll find that Texcel hoses are great for your business. Our hoses are FDA and USDA compliant for use in the food and beverage industry. Additionally, these hoses have high working pressure and are made of durable rubber.
We recommend that you flush your hoses prior to your first use. Most Texcel hoses are easily sterilized with steam at 230 degrees Fahrenheit for thirty minutes. A clean, quality food grade hose won’t affect the taste or quality of your product.
Brewery Hoses
Our brewery hoses are actually great for the delivery of not just beer, but also wine, alcohol, and other soft drinks. These hoses perform the suction and delivery of your beverage product. The working pressure for this hose is 150psi, and it can handle temperatures as low as -40 degrees up to 248 degrees. We have brewery hoses are available in a variety of widths and lengths, up to 100 feet long. Learn more about our brewery hoses.

The temperature range for this hose is nearly as high as the brewery hose. Learn more about the distillery hose.
Winery Hoses
The Texcel Balthazar series is a line of winery hoses built for the suction and discharge of wine, fruit juice, and soft drinks. The winery hose is odorless and in no way impacts the quality of your product. This hose, like the brewery and distillery hose, is made with high strength synthetic plies with steel wire spirals.
Heavy Duty Winery Hoses
The Balthazar HD series food grade hoses are corrugated and built for the most abusive applications. You can pump wine, fruit juice, soft drinks, and liquid foods in this heavy-duty food grade hose. The benefit of this hose is higher working pressure. This greatly increases loading and unloading speed. Additionally, the hose cover offers abrasion resistance and increased durability.
Steam Hoses
Our FDA-approved steam hose delivers potable hot water mixed with steam and detergents. You can use this hose to clean and sterilize equipment in the food industry. You can use this steam hose in manufacturing plants as well. The EPDM rubber cover provides abrasion-, ozone-, and weather-resistance. This hose offers a much higher temperature rating. It withstands up to 338 degrees. However, you shouldn’t use this hose for food delivery. To prolong your steam hose life, drain the hose after each use.
Suction Hoses
The suction hose has the lowest temperature rating. This hose handles temperatures as low as -4 degrees. However, you can’t use it for material hotter than 150 degrees. This suction hose is designed for dry and wet food applications and meets FDA, 3A, and USDA requirements for use in meat and poultry plants. he smooth bore prevents buildup and the corrugation makes this hose flexible.
Hose Adapters
While not technically a food-grade hose, these adapters are necessary for successful discharge applications. We construct our adapters out of 304 stainless steel and offer sizes that fit the opening diameter of all of the hoses we provide. Our hose adapters are tri-clamp and have barbed ends. The stainless steel will last longer and can handle the same temperature ratings as your desired hose. You can purchase a hose with the adapters already installed. Alternatively, you can purchase the hose and adapters separately.
