Our vessels are ideal for storing practically any pump-able product sold on the market, from water to pharmaceutical chemicals. Many consumer good companies utilize our tanks and equipment on a daily basis. Our tanks are constructed of stainless steel and have the same great sanitary fittings we sell on an individual basis. Below, you’ll learn a bit more about our sanitary fittings. Hopefully, you’ll see why you should come to Cedarstone Industry for your stainless steel commercial equipment, no matter how big or small.
About Our Sanitary Fittings
Sanitary fittings, also known as hygienic fittings, are named such due to the fact that they can be cleaned. You have the option to manually clean your fittings, or to use a CIP (clean-in-place) system. Fortunately, Cedarstone Industry tanks and vessels can be fitted with CIP systems, so you never have to manually clean your fittings. This saves time and energy. If your current tanks don’t have CIP systems within the tank, Cedarstone Industry can replace your tanks with self-cleaning options. Alternatively, we can provide an external clean-in-place system for your business. We have many different CIP system options, from a rolling cart system to a larger multi-vessel unit. Learn more about our CIP systems.
If you don’t already have sanitary fittings, it’s important to make this switch. It’s important to clean your vessels, and that includes each individual component. Otherwise, you run the risk of health threats and the reduced quality of your product. Sanitary fittings are easier to clean than other fittings because they limit the ability of harmful bacteria to stick to the surface or enter the tank. Additionally, these stainless steel fittings are corrosion resistant, so they are less likely to wear down due to exposure to liquid or chemicals.
Cedarstone Industry has a large selection of stainless steel sanitary fittings for your commercial tanks. Our fittings vary in regards to shape, and each type of fittings comes in many different sizes. Thus, we are positive that we can provide just the right fittings for your tanks. No matter the individual differences between our fittings, they each possess the same great quality.
Stainless Steel
All of our fittings are stainless steel. We offer two different grades of steel for our fittings, as with most of our other products. Our two options are 304 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel. We only provide these two types of steel because simply put, they are the best. No other metal is going to offer the same protection and sanitization. These fittings have low carbon content as well.
Certified and Meets Standards
Our sanitary fittings meet 3-a standard. Thus, each piece is certified according to 3-A Sanitary 63-03 standards for sanitary fittings. We can even provide the material test certificate upon request! It’s important that you ask companies for their test certificates to be sure that you purchase a legitimate sanitary fitting. We give you the confidence of knowing exactly what you’re paying for. The certificate will also let you know the heat number for that specific valve.
Types of Sanitary Fittings
Sanitary fittings come in different shapes. However, each type of design has been standardized. We measure the degree of out bend weld fittings.
