Are you interested in replacing or getting a new commercial stainless steel fuel tank? Cedarstone industry can accommodate your needs to the smallest detail. Our tanks have very specific designs, especially for fuel. This is a very volatile compound and deserves immense attention to detail. As a result, we have customizable options that will allow you to design a build that is exactly what your project needs. All of our units will be above ground and made of stainless steel. This is because we have found that it is far more cost-effective when it is not underground. They are more modifiable, accessible, easier to maintain, and less expensive to install or buy. As a result, we supply the best options that are not only affordable but most of all, effective.
Commercial Stainless Steel Tank!
Depending on what you may need for your property or project, there are several options that we offer. You may be able to find the right size, but if there is a custom adjustment that you need to make, please let us know. We will be happy to accommodate any of your unique needs. Otherwise, the options that we have developed already can certainly suffice! These different styles are based on the particular function of the tank, or where the other equipment is located.
- Horizontal Style Conical-Bottom
- Double Layer Conical-Bottom
- Horizontal Style Disc-Bottom
- Double Layer Disc-Bottom
- Double Layer Sloped-Bottom
Each of these sizes will serve better in certain circumstances. For example, if you have less space than usual, you may find that the vertical shaped storage tanks will be more accessible for you. They have a similar surface area, but they don’t have as much space on the sides. This means you can fit more and organize it more effectively. On the other hand, if you don’t need to watch out for the size, a horizontal tank can be a better choice as it provides a lot more volume.
Additionally, the bottom shapes will also help better or worse, depending on your situation. If you are draining the storage tank, you may prefer a conical bottom as opposed to the disc which would not allow as fast of draining. There are many different reasons that you could need each size or shape, so we’ll leave that decision up to you!
Stock Features
Insulated and Refrigerated Commercial Stainless Steel Fuel Tank
The interior of these tanks will be made of 304/316 stainless steel with a 9 gauge (0.15625“)/4mm thick, food-grade #4 finish that ensures it can conceal temperature and reduce losses. The exterior is made of 304 Stainless Steel, with a 14 Gauge instead that amounts to (0.078125“)/2mm thick, with a 2B or a mirror-like finish. The insulation is made of polyurethane that must be a minimum of 3″ thick. You can have a manhole put on the side or top, with options to customize that location as well.
There are sanitary clamp connections on the inlet and outlet ports. As we mentioned earlier, there will be the disc bottom and sloped bottom options that have a bottom outlet and side drain, respectively. We also offer optional features for more control and security. This will consist of agitation, jackets for temperature regulation, and other port options to make your unit more personalized. We are happy to hear any of your additional requests as well!
Single Wall Commercial Stainless Steel Fuel Tank
The single-wall storage tanks will also have the same 304/316 stainless steel shell that does not have the insulation added to it. It will have the #4 finish on the inside, and a 2B mirror finish on the outside. You can select to make either a side or top entrance too, depending on your needs. There are also sanitary clamp connections and a 15-degree slope cone. This option also comes with the choice of additional features such as jackets or insulation if necessary. Even without modifications, this should be perfect for your fuel storage needs. We have spent a lot of time perfecting these designs to fit almost all of our clients’ needs.
Temperature Control Is A Must!
The factor about gasoline is its susceptibility to heat. Since it is a fluid, it will be denser in the colder temperatures. Gas is not going to do well when exposed to oxygen or humidity, either. This is why it is very important to keep the climate-controlled. Right down to the amount of moisture and elements in the air. Due to the fact that gasoline will degrade from these exposures, we’re recommending that you select a storage tank with refrigeration capabilities. This will ensure that you maintain your fuel much longer.
Preventing Gasoline Degradation At All Costs
One thing to note about gasoline is that it is one of the most unstable crude oil basses. While other options such as diesel or oil may last up to 12 months without degradation, gasoline degrades in around 6. The problem with this is, whenever the gasoline degrades it reacts with the oxygen in the air to lose some of its moisture. The gas becomes gummy and more solid. This will ruin the fuel and potentially cause it to be unusable. In order to keep your gasoline properly, you have to ensure that the lighter hydrocarbons in the gasoline do not evaporate out of the substance. Scientists compare the gumming of the fuel lines like arteries clogging for your vehicle. Eventually, it can ruin the engine. This is why you need the best storage tanks with optimum capabilities to protect your fuel from evaporation or oxidation.
